Technical Climbing Schools: Traditional Lead Climbing - Single Pitch

This class will cover how to protect a single pitch on lead. This class does not cover multi-pitch trad climbing. Although the student will learn 90% of what is necessary to safely climb multi-pitch the student is strongly advised to take the follow-up class Traditional Lead Climbing - Multi-pitch (in development) and/or find an experienced multi-pitch leader to act as mentor.

This class must be taken in tandem with Advanced Anchors. Advanced Anchors is a requisite element of Traditional Lead Climbing - Single Pitch.

This class includes two lectures and two field days.
